A first-floor extension has transformed a 1950s bungalow into a sought-after luxury family home.
The property originally had a footprint of around 1,200sq.ft, but has now more than doubled in size with the existing roof replaced with an entire first-floor extension.
The new property now has with five spacious bedrooms, three reception rooms, two bathrooms, a projecting gable on oak posts as well as another gable overlooking the garden forming a characterful log store.
The project utilised a timber frame structure to ensure rapid completion, cost-effective delivery and enhanced thermal values.
The light weight structure of the design allowed the existing foundations to be used to reduce costs further and the main cladding material used gave a traditional appearance and requires very little maintenance.
