A high-quality set of technical plans showing only the relevant information for building control and builders can save time and money throughout a project.

We work with structural engineers to provide feasible and cost-effective solutions that blend in seamlessly with the character of the building. This is achieved with good onsite knowledge and experience and relationships formed over the years with many good builders and building control.

Most projects require building regulations approval and this is a separate approval from obtaining planning permission. The building regulations are a set of standards for the design and construction of buildings to ensure the safety and health of people, including those with disabilities while in or around those buildings and to conserve fuel and power. The building regulations are made under the Building Act 1984 and are regularly changed and updated.

Using our knowledge and years of experience in this area, we can apply your building works to either the local authority or an independent inspecting company (approved inspector) that checks compliance of technical plans and carries out on-site inspections to ensure the project meets the requirements.

We ensure the process is straightforward and promptly deal with any issues that arise on-site. Our drawings are clear to reduce queries and make builders’ estimates more accurate.

The project exceeded and went way beyond all of my expectations. We put some very ambitious plans in place and the end result is 100% what we wanted to achieve.
